Not "Twittering" this week

I'm an oldie but a goody, computer literate (got my first home computer in 1981) and reasonably sane. However, I cringe at the very notion of "Facebook" and now "Twittering".

There's a reason folks move away, fade away, become forgotten: their influence has waned and their opinions matter not to one's continuing life (or anybody else for that matter). It happens a lot to those past a certain age and I like it that way. I don't want ghosts from the past, nice ones or not, cluttering up my life so that I'm "corded" to them yet again.

There are, of course, a few exceptions, but for the most part, if you knew me "back then," bask in those memories because I am not the same person! I can not say, do, or remember most of my life before GBS and 4 months in the hospital in 2006.

And now I'm not interested in providing new fodder.
